Heading into our 16th year of drumming retreats, we're trying out something new this winter. 

Family Style :)  We'll be at the Empowerment Center between  Friday January 29 - Monday February 8 2016, and you are invited to come up for any period of time.

Everyday there will be group classes, open time, practice sessions, and great food! 

Recital Concert Parties are happening weekly. Sunday January 31, 6PM and Sunday February 7, 6PM

Great opportunity to learn the incredible Turkish drumming style for any level players.

Darbuka Fundamentals
Advanced  Darbuka Technique
Accompaniment
Nightly “Istanbul Style” practice sessions

Retreat Rates include instruction Food and Lodging at the empowerment center.
