performance you might have seen during egypt’s golden era, at
madame badia’s “casino badia”, the kitkat, the el dorado, café egyptien,
or café richie. it was said that the most important decisions between heads of
state in egypt, took place not in the offices, but in the casinos and “salas”, of cairo.
