Rami plays the doumbek (aka darbuka or tabla) worldwide for recordings, theatre, and performances with groups including Alsarah & the Nubatones, Zikrayat, Cafe Antarsia Ensemble, and at many of NYC's bellydance parties and cultural institutions. Rami plays and teaches both arabic and turkish style on the doumbek and offers regular classes in NYC. Rami sources and tunes amazing egyptian and domestic drums at the Raquy Drum Store
